This was an interesting and well planned tour with just the right balance of information and first hand experiences. I was looking for a glimpse into real Singaporean culture away from the neon of Orchard Road. This was it. With a very small group it was easy to listen, ask any question, taste and become familiar with so many apects of Peranakan life. Our tour of the Spice Garden was excellent because of all the answers we could get on the spot surrounded by the beautiful lush and fragrant garden. The Peranakan Museum is a must for any one visiting but so much better with a knowledgeable guide. The 'nonya' morning tea and talk was a very good ending. Thanks for an excellent insight into this culture which represents so much heritage as well as modern customs in Singaepore. Adrienne McClymont Sydney

Nice tour that gives a good overview of Peranakan people. Good museum that is visited and some authentic food was served.

Some of the things we learned helped make our time in Singapore more enjoyable, as we learned about the food and culture of the singaporian (Peranakan) people. We could order things to eat and we knew what we were getting. My wife and I enjoyed the tour very much. Thank You: Ronald de Waal

Value for money - this tour was excellant. Very much enjoyed the Spice gardens and the Nonya food demonstration and tasting - despite the rain! The Peranakan Museum was outstanding but a little too long; it could be improved by the tour guide allowing us to go through the museum on our own, looking at the things which interested us. Reduce the time at the museum and add it to the nonya cooking experience; it would make the whole tour much more enjoyable and much more "hands on".
