You will be picked up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur at the scheduled time in the morning and driven to the city of Putrajaya, the federal administrative capital of Malaysia, 25 kms from Kuala Lumpur.
After an approximately 50 minutes’ drive, your first stop will be Taman Warisan or Agricultural Heritage Park – a ‘living’ museum for mango, rubber, coca, palm oil, durian, jack-fruit, herbs and etc. Sample fresh seasonal fruits and enjoy an interesting demonstration on the entire rubber-manufacturing process from the time it is tapped to the time it is churned out as fully smoked sheets. Enjoy an insight into the historical and commercial background of Malaysia's farming and artisan crafts.
Continue the tour with a visit to Putra Jaya Government Centre and don't miss out on exploring the iconic Putra Mosque in detail. Incorporating a mix of architectural elements from Turkestan, Kazakhstan and Morocco, the mosque is truly a magnificent sight to behold. The principal mosque of Putrajaya, the mosque is made of rose-tinted granite and can accommodate 15,000 worshippers at any one time.
Another eye-catching building is the Prime Minister’s office – Putra Perdana. Other interesting places are the Putra Bridge arching across the man-made Putra Lake and the Prime Minister’s residence.
The tour ends with a drop-off to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
